Returns & Exchanges

 We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Timeframe: You must initiate your return within 10 days of delivery.
  • Condition: Items must be unused, in their original condition, and have all original stickers attached.
  • Final Sale: Items discounted 40% or more are considered Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Unauthorized returns of Final Sale items will receive store credit minus a 50% restocking fee.
  • High-Volume Returns: If more than $500 of merchandise is returned within a 10-day period, the associated account will be suspended for 60 days.

How to Return:

  • Contact Us: Please contact us before shipping to verify eligibility and prevent delays.
  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
  • Shipping: You are responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your return.
  • Insurance: You must insure your package for the full amount. We cannot offer refunds or credits for returns that arrive damaged or broken.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, a credit will be applied to your original method of payment. Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you haven't received your refund after a few days, please check with your bank and credit card company first, as processing times vary. If you still need assistance, contact us at polishpotterywestlake@gmail.com.

Damaged or Defective Items

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If a piece arrives broken, please notify us within 2 days of receipt.

To process a shipping insurance claim, we require the following four photos (regardless of whether the box shows visible damage):

  1. A photo of the broken item.
  2. A photo of the packing materials used.
  3. A photo of the inside of the box exactly as received.
  4. A photo of the exterior of the box.
    Note: Please keep all broken pottery and materials for 2 weeks. Shipping costs are non-refundable even if an item arrives broken.

Once photos are received, we will issue a replacement or refund immediately or by the next business day. If you cannot provide these photos or have discarded the packaging, you must complete a shipping claim affidavit, which will delay your resolution.

The Beauty of Hand-Painted Pottery

Polish Pottery is hand-painted, which means every piece is a unique work of art. For this reason, the item you receive may differ slightly in appearance from the item photographed on our website. While we do our best to ensure our photos are as accurate as possible, please expect slight variations in flower placement, color saturation, and brushwork.

If you would like to receive a picture of the actual piece we currently have in stock before we ship it, please contact us and we are happy to do so. If you receive an item and do not like the specific way it was painted, you are welcome to return it within our standard return window; however, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
