Returns


Our policy lasts 10 days from delivery. If 10 days have gone by since your order has been delivered, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Items purchased at a 40% or greater discount are final sale and cannot be returned.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. All original stickers must be attached. Items that are discounted 40% or more are nonreturnable and are final sale.

Please insure your package for the full amount. Returns received damaged or broken cannot be refunded or credited.

Polish Pottery is hand painted. For this reason, the item you receive may differ slightly in appearance to the item photographed on our website. If you would like to receive a picture of the actual piece we have in stock, please contact us and we are happy to do so. We do our best to ensure our photos are as accurate as possible, but as each piece is hand painted, flower placement, color saturation, and brushwork will have slight variations. If you do not like the way a piece is painted, you are more than welcome to return it. Shipping costs in this instance are the responsibility of the customer.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. All original stickers must be attached. 

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.


Shipping costs are non refundable.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at polishpotterywestlake@gmail.com.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, items discounted over 40% cannot be returned or exchanged.

Replacements (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Claims of damage must be made within 2 days of receiving the item. For damaged goods please see the section on damage below.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

If a customer returns over $500 of merchandise within a 10 day period, their account will be suspended for 60 days.

 

Damaged Pottery

We are so sorry to hear a piece arrived broken, or was damaged in shipment.

Please send us the following photos for our shipping insurance claim. We need the photos regardless of if the box has visible damage or not.
1. A photo of the broken item
2. A photo of the packing materials used in the shipment
3. A picture inside of the box as received
4. A picture of the exterior of the box as received.

These photos can be sent via email, or text message. Our email address is hello@polishpotterywestlake.com. If you prefer to text photos, they are able to be texted to (440) 941-4430. Once we receive the photos we need for our insurance claim, your replacement or refund will be issued immediately, or the following business day.

If you are unable to take these photos for any reason, or have discarded any of the packing materials, you will have to fill out a shipping claim affidavit, which will delay your refund or replacement. 

Please keep the broken pottery, and shipping materials for 2 weeks. After two weeks, you may discard the materials.
